Innovation and Technology
Innovation is in PRIMAVERA’s genes. As they seek to provide the market with innovative management solutions that will boost productivity and competitiveness, a vast team toils on, working either on their own individual projects or as regular collaborators on research programmes.
PRIMAVERA BSS has therefore clearly made a name for itself due to the continuous innovation of its solutions which it achieves through a policy of investing in Research and Development and its wholesale participation in R&D programmes at research centres and universities. Last year, for example, the company invested 26% of the volume of its business in R&D.
Certified Quality
But innovating alone is not enough. Quality is also essential. PRIMAVERA BSS has been a certified company under ISO 9001 since 2002, and in 2011, PRIMAVERA Technology, the group company responsible for architecture, development, maintenance, usability, documentation and quality control of the PRIMAVERA management software obtained CMMI level 2 certification, corresponding to the maturity of the management processes implemented. CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a reference model which is used on a worldwide scale. It was developed by the Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute (SEI), and encompasses a range of good practices necessary for maturity in software engineering processes.
Technological Partnerships
Technological partnerships, with Microsoft in particular, have allowed PRIMAVERA BSS to be involved in important experimental and research projects and to promote the most advanced technological solutions among its users on a first-hand basis.
PRIMAVERA BSS is also involved, at European level, in experimental programmes with Microsoft’s Tecnologia.NET, a partnership which has allowed the organisation to present first-hand to its users and Partners, solutions wholly designed and developed for the internet.
