Corporate Social Responsibility Attentive to its surrounding reality, for a number of years PRIMAVERA BSS has been developing a series of support initiatives for projects aimed at improving living conditions for populations with special needs. In light of the worsening living conditions of a vast, defenceless stratum of the population, we have been reinforcing our spirit of mission as a company with a responsibility towards society by joining a number of causes that promote respect for human rights, plurality, sustainable development, protection of the environment and the wellbeing of the community in general. Donating software to non-profit-making institutions; sponsoring of teams of disabled athletes; giving Christmas presents to hundreds of needy children; and a vast range of actions associated with the corporate social network CORE, are just some of the causes we have supported with the goal of contributing to improved living conditions for small groups of vulnerable or disadvantaged citizens.

Donation of software to non-profit-making institutions
The work of non-profit-making institutions in benefit of society deserves our praise and admiration, but their finances need to be meticulously and scrupulously managed. To this end, and to facilitate their management processes, PRIMAVERA gives these organisations the chance to acquire its products under extremely advantageous conditions or even free of charge. Collaboration with teaching institutions
With the goal of boosting innovation in teaching through recourse to technology, we have created our PRIMAVERA Education project, which over 500 teaching institutions have already joined. Promotion of gender equality and reconciliation of professional and family life
PRIMAVERA is a partner of the Commission for Gender Equality, and adopts a stance whereby it promotes gender equality and a balance between the professional and private lives of all its collaborators. Patronage
PRIMAVERA regularly participates in initiatives that involve the provision of support and donations to charity institutions, and sports, cultural and other groups in the communities in which it operates. Particularly noteworthy among the various projects supported in 2010, was the donation made PRIMAVERA, on behalf of both the company and its partners, in support of the NGO SOS – Children’s Villages in Portugal, Spain, Angola and Mozambique. Creation of a corporate social network (Core) which undertakes charitable work
The corporate social network Core undertakes a series of initiatives to promote the wellbeing and improvement in living conditions of the general population or certain groups with specific needs at given moments in time. The network therefore channels the efforts of all those who are truly concerned with noble causes. Most of the work done is spearheaded by PRIMAVERA BSS.
